National Film Awards were announced recently and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore won in the category of Best Hindi Film. The award got many emotional as Sushant Singh Rajput is no more here to enjoy the victory. From his co-stars like Varun Sharma and others to director Nitesh Tiwari, everyone remembered Sushant Singh Rajput on the occasion. Now, it is Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti who has penned an emotional note on social media. 

On Twitter, Shweta wrote, "'Chhichhore' wins National Film Award.” Bhai, I know you are watching, but I wish you were there to receive the award. Not a single day passes when I don’t feel proud of you. Folded hands #ChhichhoreBagsNationalAward #SushantOurHero." The film was about parents played by Sushant and Shraddha trying to make their son believe that failure is a part and parcel of life after he tries to end his life by committing suicide. 


Post the film's victory, the producer of Chhichhore, Sajid Nadiadwala released a statement saying, “On behalf of NGE, I dedicate this extremely prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We can’t get over his loss ever but I sincerely pray that this award gives a little bit of happiness to his family and fans which includes me. And I am tremendously grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us all this very special movie.
